The Fight Against Worldwide Child Slavery and The Sex Trade

Dr. Jordan B. Peterson discusses the new film “Sound of Freedom,” with star Jim Caviezel and real life inspiration Tim Ballard. The film details Ballard’s work as a Special Agent to fight against sex trafficking and the child sex trade. They go into depth on the psychology of pedophilia, the nature of good and evil, and how a steady faith in God has guided all three.
Tim Ballard is the founder and CEO of Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.), which locates and rescues endangered children victimized by sex trafficking rings. Previously, he accrued a decade of experience as a Special Agent in the Dept. of Homeland Security, working as an undercover op for the U.S. Child Sex Tourism Jump Team.
Jim Caviezel is a prominent American actor and household name in no small part for his portrayal of Jesus Christ in “The Passion of the Christ,” (sequel coming in 2024). He has had a decades long career both on and off screen, and is an advocate for faith in the modern world.

Especial Marcial

El primer Especial Marcial, recordando el desfile militar de el 29 de Julio de cada año, salió al aire en el 2021. Ese mismo programa fué repetido en 2022 y 2023.
Después de tres años, es hora de abreviarlo. Porque, si bien es cierto que en 2021 fué fascinante aprender el significado de las marchas y, quizás sobre todo, el tremendo trabajo del Sargento Mayor Ejército Peruano José Sabas Libornio, que nació en las Filipinas, pero dedicó su arte y su vida al Perú, ya no es necesario oírlo año tras año. Si los oyentes de Rrrrrradio el Cangrejo quieren revisitar ésas historias, es simple volver a las ediciones de 2021, 22, y 23.
De ahora en adelante, el Especial Marcial será solo la música. Para estar en ambiente. Para vibrar. Para recordar. Para revivir el sentimiento que teníamos en nuestra niñez y juventud durante las Fiestas Patrias.
Viva el Perú.

28 de Julio

En mi viaje a Perú en el 2023, encontré un cassette que le había mandado a mi padre. El cassette no tenía etiqueta, así que no sé exactamente cuándo se lo mandé ni por qué ocasión. Por cierto, cuando se tarataba de mi papá, no hacía falta ocasión para mandarle música.
El cassette resultó contener música criolla. No sé por qué, pero el hecho que hoy es Domingo hace que ésta música sea muy apropiada. Y cuando oigan el final de la cinta, pienso que estarán de acuerdo que ésta colección es muy apropiada para el 28 de Julio. Como si hace 30 o 40 años, hubiera grabado ésta colección para hoy, Domingo 28 de Julio del año 2024 después de Cristo.
Felices fiestas patrias.
